I scheduled with Dr. Johnston after being cancelled and rescheduled twice [...]. Dr. Johnston came recommended [...]. He is the first specialist that I've seen regarding my chronic pain that did not make me feel like my symptoms were "wrong" and didn't dismiss that I'm hyper-mobile and that it changes how I experience pain. His approach was about problem solving and being proactive, so instead of referring me for an MRI for my hip and then following up, he referred me for an MRI on hip and lumbar spine so he has the bigger picture. I wish more specialists took this approach instead of being so closed minded.
