Dr. Joshua Factor Lewis, MD

Dr. Lewis made me feel comfortable and safe. He is patient, took all the time I needed to answer my questions, and gave thoughtful responses. Great bedside manner. Easily one of the best doctors at Cedars.

When my mother was discharged from the hospital, we had immediate emergent issues. Having paged several times, there was never a response. We had been referred to a rehab facility that was disgusting to put it mildly. We needed to have her moved to another facility and he never returned the calls or pages. We had to take her home and did not have the proper medications. Pages regarding that were never answered either. Dangerous situations created by a non-responsive doctor. A rehab would have been covered by insurance, but to cover ourselves properly now, we have had to hire 24-hour private nursing, and that is not paid for by any insurance. Please note, it would not allow me to submit with no rating so I had to select the lowest one, more that I feel is appropriate.

This particular doctor is rude, and made my entire stay at Cedars horrible. I dealt with several doctors at this hospital and this particular one should not be dealing with patients with the type of attitude.

This Dr seems to have a very young arrogant approach to treating patients. I was assigned to him by my insurance company and have chosen to be re-assigned another Dr to help me thru my hospital stay at Cedars.
