Great surgeon. The type of surgery he performs allows you to heal quickly without extreme pain.

He did both of my knee replacements and no complaints. Amazing recovery time. 7 days off work and right back at it.

Dr. Murphy gave me a new knee. I had heard horror stories about how painful I would be after the surgery and while doing physical therapy. My knee was bone to bone and I could hardly walk before the surgery. I have had very little pain, and I mean VERY little, and have had no problems with my physical therapy (which is in the same building as Dr. Murphy's office). I could shout from the rooftops about how skilled and wonderful Dr. Murphy is so please, if you need a new knee. see him.

I had a total hip replacement & Dr. Murphy was very attentive to my concerns about anesthesia because of my copd & asthma. He already had experience with spinal blocks. Surgery went very well & my recovery was very fast. Probably the best dr. i have seen.

I knew that I wanted an orthopedic surgeon who could help me get back to my golf and workout activities as quickly as possible. When I visited with Dr. Murphy, I was confident I'd found the right physician for me. He developed a plan and followed up on my progress and I'm really pleased with my activity level. If I do end up needing surgery in the future, I know Dr. Murphy will be my choice.

I went to see him with a broken shoulder. After allowing that to heal, upon moving my shoulder I was still in pain and couldn't lift my arm. I kept coming back to see what could be done. He just kept brushing me off. I went to another surgeon to find out that I had frozen shoulder, impinged nerve, labral tear, bone spurs and a lot of scar tissue which was found when shoulder surgery was done. The new doctor took all of the information that Dr. Murphy had received from all of the testing that he had done, did a manipulation surgery and now I am on the road to recovery.
