Dr. Joshua Douglass Waltonen, MD

He is a very caring and straight forward doctor. I knew my husband was in good hands with Dr. Waltonen. He made us feel that the cancer can be beaten!

When I initially saw Dr WAltonen I truly liked him. Seemed very concerned straight to the point. My disappointment starts when he did my surgery I never saw him until I actually complained the second visit in the hospital before he showed up. Myself and my family kept getting different answers from interns other doctors the nurses bless their hearts were just trying to do what they were told. Having surgery is scary enough but not being able to speak to your actual doctor throughput the whole ordeal is uncalled for. Several nurses made the same comment that they could not believe that my doctor had not been in to check on me . It may sound harsh but I am a patient too and I just feel that questions and concerns were swept underneath the rug so to speak. One of the doctor / interns told me I could lift whatever I feel like lifting and do whatever I felt like doing but when the PA came in and eventually the doctor the last day they said absolutely not 15 pounds. It just seems like… things weren’t as they should be and everyone definitely was not on the same page. I have MS , I did not have my medications while I was there because the hospital did not have them. I believe that the doctor should’ve made sure that I had what I needed since you are told not to bring your own medicines. So today I have a follow-up check up I’m praying that it goes well.

Dr. Waltonen is very professional with a great bedside manner. He did robotic surgery on my husband to remove a cancerous tonsil and neck disection. We were very pleased. I highly recommend him as a surgeon.

Everyone at this office is very professional and pleasant to us at all times.
