I was inpatient for a few days. He didn't believe me that I had attempted suicide or that I had PTSD. Told my parents I was doing it all for "attention" and also thought I was lying about the severity of my Crohn's. My best friend told me she has thought I'm Bipolar I for years, he told me he's 100% positive it's not bipolar disorder and most likely cluster B. Well, six months later, I'm dealing with kidney failure because they didn't take my suicide attempt seriously and it destroyed my organs, I was officially diagnosed with Bipolar I Disorder, the assault case he thought I was lying about for attention turned out in my favor and the student got expelled, Crohn's diagnosis changed to both small and large intestine, severe with complications, and my current psychiatrist is appalled that Dr. Z prescribed me Wellbutrin when I presented with clear signs of Bipolar I and especially PTSD. Thank Gd I sought out a second opinion and my parents didn't listen to him either. I just can't get… over how rude he was, talking over me and telling me to my face that I was lying.

I signed myself into Oakview for mental issues and if it wasn’t for doctor z I probably be dead right now. He really helped me and I will be happy he works there and hope he stays there

Repeatedly threatening a patient with probate and "compulsory care" after they present with anxiety based complaints seems like the wrong course of treatment to me.
