My understanding of the relationship between a physician and patient is that we work together to accomplish a desired goal. Each patient has a different goal. Each and every patient has a unique set of circumstances that surrounds their health. These circumstances are very important to consider as I guide and recommend the best treatment plan for each patient.

My main objective is to provide each patient with accurate information about their injury or diagnosis. I explain the risks and benefits of conservative treatment versus surgical management, as that is very important. Then, the patient is able to make an informed decision and participate in elaborating his or her own treatment plan. As I see it, medicine overall is a team sport, and the end goal is to provide excellent care following the highest standards for every patient.

Each patient can expect my undivided attention and evidence-based care. They can be confident that they will be treated following the highest standard of …medical and surgical care. When a patient chooses me for their orthopedic care, I communicate with them and make them feel comfortable enough to discuss all their medical issues and treatment options.
