Dr. Juan Felipe Santos, MD

Doesnt know what he prescribed . Tells me switch meds w no info on transitions n can cause unending seizure . When answer phone say will call back n it's been a week n no response closest I've got to help is call e.r. I've told him how to help n trying to rx anything he can first instead "Diagnosed" me on injuries sustained from seizure not actual cause.

Upon leaving the hospital we had a list of meds my wife was to take and most of her existing meds were left off without explanation. His approach was uncaring and evasive. He might be a great guy, a great doctor, but his approach leaves you wondering. Ill find out as we search for a new neurlogist (in San Antonio.)

Like most doctors; independent and not much caring for you.

I was sent to him to have a test to determine if I needed to have surgery. Three months later I still can't get his office to release my test results. They also refused to give me a business card because I didn't need a return appointment.

I was sent to Dr. Santos for test by my regular Dr. When I started to leave I looked for a business card. The receptionist only patients with a return appointment could have a business card. Who doesn't give out business cards? I've been waiting over 6 weeks and I can't get my test results so I can have a much needed surgery. Maybe that's why he doesn't want anyone to get a business card.

Have not been for awhile, but back on my feet and I'm looking for my old Doc because he is great

I was shaking and in tears after being denied access to a see Dr. Santos by his receptionist because of my gender and listing two men who were obviously married (shared last name) on my intake form. She scoffed at my gender and shook her head at seeing the married men. Then her entire attitude changed towards me and she refused me access to the doctor. This was witnessed by the Nurse of my referring physician who I called and had on speaker for support. She recognized that this was an unsafe environment and recommended I leave. I will be following up with complaints to the Medical Board and lawyers.

A big deception!

He took time to listen to me. He never made me feel rushed. He knew exactly what tests I needed. He is very competent.

Awesome neurologist! Very thorough and competent. Helpful staff! Would recommend him to everyone. Definitely knows what he is doing!
