Dr. Judith Yia-Hua Lin, MD

Dr. Lin is the most professional doctor I have ever had. The best. She knew what was wrong with me without expensive tests. I will miss her terribly as she passed away 6/10/23. I don't know where they get their nurses at Family Medical Center of LaGrange but some of them need some lessons in manners & returning phone calls.

Dr. Lin has been my doctor for the past 11 years. In this time, my family and I have had nothing but professional experiences with her. My son has a rare autoimmune disease. Dr. Lin has taken care of him with nothing but the utmost professionalism. It warms my heart that she sent me an article she found about my son’s condition. Dr. Lin has gone above and beyond to help us and ensure my family receives the care they need. Her nurse, Candice, was such a gem. Both of them work well together and are amazing. Candice always returns my calls and is a sweat heart. I know my family is in good hands with Dr. Lin and her team.

I am a patient of Dr. Lin's for three years now, love how easy it is to talk with her and the compassion and concern she has for her patients. She is the reason for the 4 star rating, As far as the nurse, I don't know what she does but it certainly is not returning phone calls. This is sad because Dr. Lin will lose a lot of patients for this. Something needs to be looked into on this.

Dr. Lin is the best doctor I've ever had. She doesn't dismiss any symptoms, and works with you to find the correct diagnosis on the first try. She has stayed past her end time before in order to help with an emergency. She is absolutely wonderful. I would also like to say (I really wanted to give this review 4 stars, but I couldn't because of how well Dr. Lin treats me) but her nurses are awful. One has made me cry and called me a liar (I don't think she's there anymore), one just never returns phone calls, and one of her very old ones was extremely dismissive. It's almost impossible to leave a message and have a called returned. It makes me feel like they don't care, and I've had to go to urgent care to get looked at, because I never receive a call back 80% of the time.

I love the doctor but frequently when you leave a message to get a return call it doesn’t happen. Extremely frustrating!

Dr. Lin very caring.

I have seen Dr. Lin for 3 years now and I am 100% satisfied with her services. She is easy to talk to, knows how to listen to her patients, she doesn't dismiss your concerns, I never feel rush with her but I am also conscious of the appointment duration time so I come prepared with concerns and questions. She discusses the plan to diagnosis you or test that need to be run. The waiting time isn't too bad, in my experience it is the usual waiting time as in other doctors offices. Typically I am shown to the room 15-20min from my appointment time then it is another 15-20min wait.

He made my daughter cry while she was on the phone with him because she had missed an appointment and had already set up a new appointment. She asked to switch doctors because of how upset he had made her. Unfortunately my daughter will not be able to see Dr. Lin anymore because she does not want to have to deal with Sean ever again.

My wife and I had to choose new doctors because of insurance changes, after researching doctor groups, my wife chose Dr. Lin and her group. We have now been treated several times by her and her partners. We are very happy with their professionalism, bedside manner, and very short waiting times. We are very happy and grateful they took us on as patients. The staff is also kind and helpful.
