Dr. Judith Irene Raabe, PhD

I often times consider the notion of making one more appointment with Raabe for the singular purpose of explaining in great detail how terrible she is at what she does. But that would mean I'd be paying her another $100 and the very idea of handing any more of my money is just too abhorrent. She needs to hear it but that's the greater problem: She wouldn't listen. And that in of itself makes her the meanest "doctor" I've ever known.

Judy provides thoughtful and compassionate care. She is a very skilled and experienced therapist and has helped me through some difficult times. I feel very empowered and centered after my appointments with her. She has a great sense of humor too which is always appreciated!

I couldn't understand why so many times, I actually felt worse about myself when I left her office than when I walked in. It must have been her remarkable absence of any sign that she actually cared one way or the other. It was so hard to acquire a response from her despite what I said. All in all, it was a complete waste of time, not to mention the money.

........would I go back to that office. This woman is terribly cold. Nothing to offer. At one time, she actually became downright insulting. Believe it or not, she reminded me of some of my more unpleasant experiences when I was a kid. And that was to be considered therapy?
