Dr. Jules Toraya, MD

His staff are very friendly! He is very professional and personal. This was my first visit with Dr. Toraya and I was very pleased!

I almost fell asleep on the exam table because I was waiting so long. The M.A./nurse/cna only became polite once she realized dr.toroya was going to be late. By the time he showed up he didn't seem to have time for me. I've had better luck with nurse practitioners so I'll be sticking to them.

I have been with Dr. T since 1981. I wouldn't trust my lady parts to anyone else. He really is a jewel!!

If you are looking for a great team for prenatal care look no further. I love Dr.Toraya and his staff. They know me by name and they really care about all of their patients. He is extremely thorough in his evaluations and he tell you how it is. Overall great doctor, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have used Dr. Toraya for years and have recommended him to my children and friends. He has always been a "straight, to the point" Doc...and I wouldn't want it any other way. He always treats me like one of his family and Rachel, his nurse is great as well.

In all my visits to Dr. Jules Toraya, everyone of them has been an amazing experience. Yes, they are not fun and I do not enjoy my annul check ups. But all of the staff are very friendly and the hospital is always very clean. When I had my first ultrasound I was at peace. They have a way of taking care of you at Candler. If I still lived there Dr.Toraya would be delivering my baby that is due in February. I would recommend him to anyone. My grandmother suggested I go to him, and he has never let her down. I believe he gets straight to the point, and does not beat around the bush. His nurse Rachel is also amazing. She always is very friendly.

I've been to Dr. Toraya twice now. Once 4 months ago for a yearly pap. Discussed serious PMS concerns. He said there was nothing to do but go on the Pill. Gave me Zoloft to help with PMS symptoms. Went back for 4 month follow up. I don't like a side effect but he said the only other option was the Pill. Did an ultrasound to see if there was a reason for bleeding. Said all looked fine and was ready to leave when my husband asked for more detail, then told us there is a physical abnormality. Again, said the Pill could fix it but that it would also go away on its own. Did not seem open to discussing alternative treatments and very condescending.
