Dr. Juliann Marie Reiland-Smith, MD

More concerned about her agenda than the wellbeing of cancer patients. She pressured me into implant reconstruction so she could do "her" nipple sparing mastectomy on me. She told me I didn't know what I was talking about when I originally & adamantly refused. She said I was under too much stress to make that decision on my own, that she deals with it all the time and that everybody knows women who have reconstruction heal faster.... She left my skin too thin to hold implants and her plastic surgeon buddy cut & destroyed my muscles and then put in much larger implants than I requested when I agreed to it. My advice: Stay away from her and implants! Visit with an oncologist and physical therapist before making a decision - they are the ones who know breast cancer survivors! Do research and find the best reconstruction surgeons in the nation - if YOU want to go that route! Nipples and breasts are not what bring healing, health, and happiness!

Adequate care. Very busy and you wonder if she’s listening to you.

Dr Reiland is amazing, so caring and such of a special way with her explaining and reassuring. Her entire staff reflect the same. Love her ð???

The front desk staff, although very pleasant (to the point of being loud), isn't so good about remembering to return phone calls, but if the call makes it to the back, then I get called back.The doctor is TERRIFIC!

Dr. Reiland-Smith has got to be the most compassionate doctors/surgeons I've ever met as well as tops in her profession for Breast Cancer. She's very busy but worth the wait!! I never leave an appointment without her initiating a hug! She's the best!
