Dr. Julie Ann Beyers, MD

This doctor was beyond very unprofessional... and borders on creepy. The visit was very uncomfortable and her billing methods are substandard. It is best to find another OBGYN.

Completely unprofessional Dr. Completely botched my biopsy, her staff did not provide any accurate information regarding my testing or what I needed to do to prior to my exam which caused me great pain. She discussed my cancer tests while picking up pizza to go.

I had no problem getting an appointment with Dr. Beyer 4 weeks in advance, but was called the day before my appointment and was asked if I could come in an hour later, but on the message the woman said that if I couldn't my appt would still be fine at the original time. I called back and left a message saying that I COULD come earlier, but did not receive a call back the next day, so I called twice that morning to confirm the time. When I heard from no one, I came at the original time. The receptionist said she got my message that morning, but did not apologize for not having called me to confirm the time. I waited over an hour - PAST the time that they had tried to reschedule me for! The staff was unapologetic and then when Dr. Beyers finally took me, she made a rude comment, "you know, you have to tell us what time you're coming in. didn't you get a call from us?" Are you serious? I set her straight saying that I had left a message and tried to call several times to confirm and… that it was I who had not heard back from anyone. And - NO APOLOGY! Her demeanor during the exam was also rushed and unfriendly. But the final straw came when, as she conducted the exam, she insensitively commented, "you've got a lot of poop in there - I guess you haven't made a bowel movement today." Seriously? I will never return to Dr. Beyers and would never encourage someone to see her.

This doctor was openly judgmental during my visit and sent me a very unprofessional email due to some bureaucratic dilemmas with my insurance. I would expect more from someone who chooses such a profession. No wonder she seems to be the only gynecologist in the city who has appointments available within the same week.
