Dr. Julie Adele Chacko, MD

I think Dr. Chacko is a good urologist. That being said, her staff is awful and she always seems so busy that you are just one of many. After two UTI hospital stays, I had several questions regarding antibiotics, catheterization, UTI prevention. I actually called her office from the hospital and the receptionist hung up on me mid-sentence. They are just too busy, plain and simple. It's too bad because I do think she is very smart, but if I can't get in to see her after being hospitalized, smarts don't matter!

I am glad I found Dr. Chacko. With my surgery I was very satisfied.

I did not have a good experience with Doctor Julie Chacko. I do not recommend her for this reason.

Dr. Chacko is a caring and compassionate doctor and will work with you to achieve your desired outcome. She is very good at what she does and cares very much about her patients. She can come across as intense to some people, but to me that is a sign of her caring!

Last year I worked for a small company. The company cancelled my insurance policy without any notice to me. It happened so I paid my part of premium for that week. Suddenly the price of my visit was increased by $200 based when Dr. Chacko's learned about the decision my employer made. The billing agent from Dr. Chacko office was pushy and very unfriendly. It was a hassle to deal with that issue.

Dr. Julie Chacko is the BEST! She is compassionate, personable and very caring. She took plenty of time with my consultation answering all my questions and explaining everything in detail. She made herself accessible to me. You know you have chosen the right surgeon when your pre-surgery nurse tells you she is one of the best. After surgery she stayed close to the nurses at the hospital. I live two hours away and it has been well worth the drive. I had originally made an appointment for a consultation in March. After reading a couple negative reviews I cancelled that appointment! When I then had two doctors recommend her for my complicated surgery I decided to check it out for myself. Thank God I did! She is the lady you want on your team.

I had two very bad experiences with Dr. Julie Chacko and I know one other person who also had a terrible experience with Dr. Chacko. She is angry and unprofessional. I actually feel traumatized from my horrendous medical nightmare. Dr. CHACKO HAS ISSUES.
