Dr. Julie Lynn Hansen, MD

I would encourage anyone pregnant or trying to conceive to find a different OB. I am currently going through a miscarriage after being on femara for 3 months. The last month I bled for 2 weeks after my period. I asked the nurse if we should still try and she said yes. We got pregnant, but miscarried shortly after finding out. My progesterone levels were low which is a hormone that strengthens the lining of the uterus. I can’t help but think my lining was week due to the bleeding. I feel like this all could have been avoided if we were told to not try that month. Then, I was given medication to pass everything, but it didn’t work. I was told to do another round and that also didn’t work. Dr. Hansen has not returned any of my phone calls and I feel the nurse is giving me direction before checking with the doctor first. The Dr is only in clinic one day a week so the nurse can’t even get ahold of her most of the time. I had bloodwork done to check hcg levels which were never posted on the… patient portal. It is Friday and I wanted to know the hcg levels were declining before the weekend. I was told they close at noon so “hopefully” I would have them by then. I have an appointment with a new OB this coming Tuesday and I pray I will receive better care than I have with Dr. Hansen.

Can’t say enough how amazing Dr. Hansen is. You won’t find a better OB, surgeon or person. She genuinely cares and takes the time with you instead of just moving you through. I had a repeat c-section so I got to see and experience her surgical skills as well. I couldn’t ask for a better outcome. My daughter was delivered safely, my incision is thin and small, and I have been healing well. She really is incredible. I would recommend her to anyone.

My personal experience with Dr Julie Hansen resulted in another doctor unaffiliated with Integris to diagnose and treat an infection 8 months AFTER my baby was born as Dr H did NOT test the holes in my skin for bacteria. Turned out not only did I have an infection it took various kinds and 11 rounds of antibiotics and 15 months to clear infection and caused other ongoing health problems for me. I personally do NOT recommend her or integris, the VP and VP of RM refused to meet with me over it too

As a first time mom, I have been very nervous about everyting that happens during pregnancy, what to expect, etc and Dr. Hansen and her nurse, Loralee, at Intergis Edmond East have been above and beyond what I could have hoped for in a medical care provider. I definitely recommend Dr. Hansen as an OB.

I have been seeing Dr. Hansen for about 4 years. She is very informative and spends time with her patients to get an accurate understanding of what is going on. I have never had a Dr. so attentive. The staff is incredible and so nice. The nurse, Angie, is so nice and sweet. Angie and Dr. Hansen both make it a priority to build a report with their patients. I would reccomend her to ANYONE!

Great doctor in everything. I switched to her after my 1st trimister and Love her and staff. They are taking good care of my baby and me. Thanks

I scheduled an emergency appointment because I was having very severe UTI symptoms. I was in excruciating pain. Dr. Hansen did a urine sample, then had her nurse peliminarily check it before sending it to the lab. She said I'd get the lab results back by the end of the day, but the nurse didn't see anything so she said it would probably come back negative. I asked her what would happen in that case because I was in excruciating pain. She said we'd jsut leave the symptoms--if there was no sign of a UTI, then no reason to treat it. Shouldn't she have done further testing on someone who is pregnant and in SO much pain?? Long story short, I didn't get the test results that day, or the next day, and was told that I would get them back today by the nurse (who also scolded me and said it was just round ligament pain. Uh, I think I know the difference between round ligament pain and bladder pain!). I still haven't heard anything, 3 days later!! Meanwhile, I had to go to the ER… yesterday night because the pain was so severe, and guess what they told me? Yep, UTI!! I could have told you that! I'm very unhappy and my husband and I are switching OBs immediately. I'm not one of those pregnant ladies who calls at the drop of a hat, but even if I was, who invents bladder complaints? If I would have listened to Dr. Hansen and let the symptoms ride, the infection could have spread to my kidneys and I could have lost the baby!
