Dr. Julie Denise Rippeth, MD

If I could give negative stars... I WOULD! She may seem nice enough but whatever you do, DO NOT trust her... especially if your insurance company has commissioned her for an 'independent' exam. She will be biased towards any large insurance company. Exams provided by her are NOT independent. She'll twist your words and will 'gaslight' you in a heartbeat. She also has the tendency to 'twist' medical records to fit her biased narrative. Julie, is it really that hard to be an honest clinician and be a decent human being? You can do better! She preys upon those that are already marginalized and suffering just for her own financial gain. I wish Julie could walk just 'one' day in the lives that she's affecting negatively. If you're referred to her... ask for a different provider!

I had to do a series of tests to check my brain's function. She was kind the entire time. She took time to explain things to me and was patient with me. I highly recommend her.

Be careful of Julie. She is contracted by Met Life Insurance Company, probably several others, to do "independent reviews" for them. She just destroyed me in her review and will be costing me my long term disability in the next few weeks. She is NOT a medical doctor and felt she was qualified to state "she has no bipolar symptoms" in her review. I have been diagnosed by an actual M.D. My own doctor, counselor and psychiatrist support my long term disability, Julie does not, surprise, surprise. She is a psychologist, not an M.D. She saw me for a little over three hours. My care providers have seen me for almost two years. Shame on you Julie, I hope you can sleep at night working for these people.
