Dr. Julie Ann Tomberlin

We have been going to Dr. Tomberlin since 2012. She saw our kids for their initial appointment when they were newborns and ever since have only seen her a couple of times. We have 3 children. Long wait times, issues with billing and employee attitudes have left a bad taste in our mouths over the past 6 years. Seems the staff up front has a different face every-time. Seems like every time we have a scheduled appointment we get taken to a room pretty quickly. Vitals are checked for the kids and then we wait for 45mins to see the doctor for a few minutes. Usually it is not Tomberlin herself it is a NP, who are usually pretty friendly and pleasant. Very rarely see Tomberlin even around the office, my wife and I joke if she is even there. We have had issues with billing, since we usually see a NP when they bill it under the NP name it often times gets rejected by my insurance, which is frustrating. As for the employee attitudes, I don't know if some have left but at one point she had a rude… NP. Another time we had an appointment scheduled, yet they had it for 10 minutes earlier and called saying we were late. We actually had an email showing the time that we thought and the individual over the phone was quite rude. We are currently in the process of seeking other pediatricians as I feel we could have a better experience elsewhere. Her office is really nice and I do like the NP's we see but seeing the Dr and the wait times just put us over the edge.

I've been going to Dr. Tomberlin since H was born in 2013. She is AWESOME....the rest of the staff is not good...especially the billing area!!

Wait time is forever long and the nurses are very unprofessional.. Love the front desk lady that we dealt with. Also be careful with going here, they try to get money out of you, any way they can.

We have been going here for three. Dr. Tomberlin's wait time is very long. We prefer her RN, Christina. She is the only reason why we would consider staying. The staff is very unorganized. No one in the front can really answer questions about insurance. They always have new people working there who seemed confused most of the time.

New doctor's office for my girls. I LOVED the staff. They were all outgoing and very friendly. I saw the NP, Christiana and she is very nice and does a professional job. I recommend this whole office!!! Very Impressed Mom

We have been with Dr. Julie since my oldest daughter was born (8 years). I interviewed about 5 doctors before I chose her and am so glad we found her! I have recommended her to several friends. She is the best pediatrician. We like her casual and friendly demeanor. She sincerely loves my girls and they sincerely love her. She spends plenty of time with you explaining things fully and answering all questions thoroughly.

Dr. Julie has been seeing my boys since they were born. During well visits, she spends as much time as I need, always letting me ask all the questions I have and never making me feel rushed. She covers more than just health, but also behavioral, diet and educational topics. I am so glad my OB recommended her when my first son was born. The office even followed up to see how my 2 year old was doing after a visit in the ER. We love Dr. Julie!

Dr. Tomberlin and her staff understand that a pediatrician's office should appeal to the children just as much as the parents. I was so happy to see toys and different colors on the wall and an overall pleasant, kid friendly appearance. Her staff seemed helpful and her nurses were absolutely wonderful. Everyone there is so pretty. The doctor spent as much time as we needed to answer every questions, she gave my son hugs and kisses and made him feel at ease. She got down on the ground while he was playing to examine him. I really appreciate this office. This was the pediatrician we have been looking for.We waiting about 20 minutes before we saw the doctor, but it was so worth the wait for the health of my child.!!

Dr. Julie is the most thorough pediatrician. She genuinely cares about her kids, and makes them feel at ease in her office. During well visits she covers everything from eating habits, sleeping habits, and where the kids are developmentally. Recently she started a program to keep kids fit and to learn at an early age about proper nutrition and activity. Sometimes the wait is a little long, but that is generally when you don't have an appointment and have to be "fit in" to the day. I wouldn't even consider another doctor for my kids. Most importantly, my 3 year old likes her, and is never afraid to go to the doctor.
