She delivered my baby due to my doctor being out of town and I did not want a male doctor. I had a natural birth with no pain meds until Dr Decesare continued to poke and prod around my vaginal area for a LONG time after giving birth. After about an hour of her coming back and poking and prodding every 15 minutes, they couldn’t figure out why I was still bleeding. She finally decided to put some stitches in a tear. Why wait so long? She also was reaching in to remove clots as well at this point and when I couldn’t keep my legs still after what seemed like forever with her rummaging around down there, she blurts out “would you want to do an epidural?” Excuse me? I will never recommend her to anyone. I just hoped for her to be done w me as quickly as possible.

Spent a lot of time with me and actually listened to my issues. She is amazing!

The worst OBGYN I have ever come in contact with she came into my high risk hospital room at Sacred heart while I was in preterm labor at 29 weeks with my daughter, after going back and forth with me about why I should choose her staff to care for me and my unborn baby, to tell me she was very disappointed with my decision to chose Dr. Jairan Duke as my Obgyn and care giver to deliver my breech baby instead of one of her own residency staff dr who were fresh out of med school! She did this in front of 2 of her residents and my nurse that she brought into my room with her which made the situation even more uncomfortable. Not only was her statement and the situation she put me in stressful and rude but absolutely ridiculous because she stated Dr. Duke had delivered her own son when she was pregnant smdh! I didn't understand what her issue was if the same Dr. I wanted delivered her own baby. This woman should not be a director of the fsu residency staff. As a patient and mother she made… me very upset and uncomfortable! I have already made a complaint with the hospitals advocate rep and and requested a full apology from Ms. Decesare for her distasteful, inconsiderate, insincere, and rude actions that I have yet to receive!
