Dr. Julie Diane Zimbelman

Our experience with Dr. Zimbelman so far has been great! She is in tune with my daughters care and I feel a real connection and passion when she is working with her! She takes her time with each visit and makes sure she addresses any issues or concerns about my daughter. I would highly recommend her to everyone! I consider myself blessed to have Dr.Zimbelman as my daughters doctor!

Dr. Zimbellman has been my son's oncologist for 15 years. She always focus on her patient in every decision and procedure. She collaborates with other specialists very well. Her staff also have been very professional.

My daughter was referred to Dr. Z because she had some lymph node issues. Dr. Z was awesome with both my daughter and me. She explained everything and answered all our questions. She took the route of being cautious but still covered all the bases. We would highly recommend her and her staff!

Thanks to Dr Zimbelman my son gets to celebrate his first birthday next week! I had a very sick week old baby in NICU with (among other things) a strain of leukemia. Dr Zimbelman gave him the perfect dose of chemo and we've not looked back since! We look forward to our monthly check-ups because it's like visiting family; she deeply cares for her patients. Heaven forbid your child ever needs an oncologist but if they do, you'll be in good hands here.

When my daughter, Angela, was referred to the Colorado Limb Consultants, they sent us for tests. When Angela was in recovery right after we we told she had bone cancer, Dr. Julie met us in the recovery room and told us she would be our pediatric oncologist. She is very sweet, optimistic, and looked me right in the eyes and said the recovery rate for this cancer is 80%. That was very encouraging after the internet figures of 70% and 30%. It still wasn't easy but Dr. Julie or one her partners would check up on us both morning and evening when we were in the hopital and once a day when we were doing out- patient chemotherapy. Anytime we were in the elevator and talked about Dr. Julie, both men and women physicians could hardly say enough good things about her. The philosophy at Rocky Mountain Pediatric Hemotolgy Oncology is to be proactive and empathetic in the crazy world of childhood cancer.
