My husband spent 5 days in Sarasota memorial icu & she was his attending physician. She was very patient with him - he was having focal seizures @ the time & was able to stabilize him for which we we're great ful for. She has an excellent bedside manner. The issue was he was misdiagnosed. My husband had glioblastoma multiform stage IV. Very upsetting - no one was able to detect this dispite all the testing.

She listens, she is compassionate, and does not like to prescribe deadly drugs like most Neurologists. By far the best Dr I have met that works at Sarasota Memorial.

I was very disappointed, after hearing good reviews. As far as my visit was I'm sure I know more about her life than I would care to and she asked me virtually no pertinent questions about myself or the reasons for my visit. Yes she is a very nice outgoing personality. But as a Dr. I was very unnerved by her lack of knowledge.

This woman should never have been in practice. She was great in the beginning, very friendly and congenial. However, I often waited close to an hour in the waiting room, witnessed at least 5 nurses quitting in just 2.5 years, and frequently she forgot crucial details regarding my medical condition - having to remind her at each visit about my predicament. The copy of my medical record proves she made serious miscalculations, however, the absolute worst situation revolved her not admitting her lack of knowledge with my specific condition, and omitting medications that could have greatly assisted my condition nearly 2 years ago. Good thing she is closing the doors and 'moving on'. Good riddance.

Dr. Coleman is a caring professional with a great staff and a marvelous sense of humor. I would not hesitate to recommend her without reservation.
