Be careful of surprise bills! My partner received a $1,000 bill through collections after never hearing from Dr. Zsohar about the bill... Very unhappy with this treatment.

I received a bill today from Julius Zsohar Md for 12/28/2021!!! I paid everything upfront with insurance and Care Credit!! I don’t even know who this person is!! This is the first letter I’ve received from this doctor so why not contact me first before sending to collections Frost- Arnett… also does anyone have the phone number to the doctor because I can’t find a working number anywhere.

Dr. Zsohar leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to billing. Dr. Zsohar billed my insurance $170,000 for a minor hernia surgery. I paid for the doctor doing the surgery and the facility, but some how Dr. Zsohar and his office decided to try and milk my insurance and now me. I will be filing a complaint with the medical board about this billing. Not only was that a shock but I am being billed for another minor procedure. My insurance and I were also billed for another $16,000.00 for Anes upper GI. I will also be filing a compliant for this bill as well. I get it that I have insurance though trying to over bill seems to be a Dr. Zsohar's expertise. If this is not him then he should be controlling his billing department.
