Dr. Jyh-Haur Haur Lu, MD

he shows no empathy to patients nor he cares about what you tell him. -10 he doesn’t deserve even 1 star. AVOID THIS DOCTOR ????????

After going to about 5 or 6 different neurologists about my dads tremor and having him wrongly diagnosed with essential tremor and told he was “just too stressed”, Dr. Lu assessed my dads tremors and movement and right away referred him to get a DATscan. He is the only doctor to even give him the option of a test and finally after months of going crazy and not knowing what’s wrong, Dr. Lu diagnosed my dad with Parkinson’s. Yes the news is terrible but now that we actually know what it is we are taking steps with Dr. Lu to help my dad live a comfortable life and to slow the progression. Dr. Lu follows up and is helping my father through his whole journey taking my dads concerns and questions seriously. He is very considerate and has a great deal of knowledge. After experiencing so many doctors who made my dad feel like he was crazy or “too stressed” or just simply wrongly diagnosing him, it’s nice to know my dad’s health is finally in amazing hands.

Stupid policy from this medical doctor. Racist, discrimination, bad policy etc.. toward AMERICAN FREEDOM RIGHT, CONSTITUTION, LAW... FROM AMERICA LAWS SYSTEM. BAD VERY BAD HAVE LICENSE FROM AMERICA BUT DON'T WANT IT RECEIVED AMERICAN SUPER PATRIOT Patient because connected, correlated with job injuries cause. Is very unrealistic, unhuman, Chinese communist system. GO BACK TO YOUR NATURAL HOMELAND COUNTRY WITH SAME RACE POLICY....

I had a real bad pain in my neck. Dr. Lu helped fix that. I was told by other doctors, things that would have reduced my quality of life. Dr. Lu helped me to get back healthy and still enjoy an active lifestyle.

I visited other neuro before Dr. Lu and while they were good/ok, he is great. Helped me alot. Fixed my problem after just a couple of visit. I feel great now.

Dr. Lu helped me alot! Dr. Lu took the time to explain the prognosis and provided a plan that yielded immediate results. I am impressed at how active he is in the medical community and staying up-to-date with the most recent updates. He is not a doctor that just knows what he learned a year or two ago, but a doctor that stays informed and is knowledgeable of trends in medicine. This is very valuable because it can mean the difference between the right treatment and the wrong one.

This doctor is patronizing and insulting to the point of comical. He seems more concerned about berating his patients then actually asking questions that are relevant. If you want to pay someone well to berate you then you've come to the right place.

I have seen about 10 different doctors for my problem, range different specialties. After over 10k of visiting and work up fee no one was able to tell me what is going on with me. I made an apointment with him, he was able to tell me what is wrong with me, he told me i was in wrong specialty. He made a referal for me to see another specialist. He told me he was going void my visit, i thought he meant i did not have pay copaid; he never billed my insurance!! Who does that in 2014!? What a honest noble guy!! I have been seeing him for my headaches now, my brother also sees him too, he heard about him from his co-workers. Seems like there is a great deal of word of mouth referals. He is a great doc! I ask him to be my family doctor but he turned down. I wish he could my general physician.

I was a little upset about his waiting time, but he actually went over all my MRI films with me, and explain every thing in detail; I have seen 4 neurologists before he is first one that ever explained everything to me, in language that I understood! I came out of the visit happy, and knowing more about my body. It's worth the wait.... I will keep on going back to him.
