I had a total knee replacement. I was impressed with Dr. Ezzet from my first contact with him, i.e., the surgical consultation. His presentation was so through that, literally, all of my questions were answered before I could ask them. He laid out all of the options available to me as a life-long, physically fit, 75-year-old long-distance runner. He then walked me through how to manage my post-surgical expectations. He did not "push" surgery and told me I could "get by" with my existing knees but my quality of life would suffer as I continued to age. I elected to have total knee replacement surgery at Scripps Green Hospital. On the day of surgery, he sat with me and displayed no behavior that would seem like talking with me was a mere formality or that he wanted to wrap it all up as quickly as possible. When it was time to be rolled into the OR, I was as informed as I could be. The surgery took less time than usual because I had no bone deformities or prior injuries to the knee.… Post-Op, I was well cared for by the caregivers at Scripps Green. The day after surgery, Dr. Ezzet came to see me and, again, he was not rushed and he was not satisfied until he was sure I had no unanswered questions. I asked how long I needed to wait to have my other knee replaced, and he said his preference was 3 months but that amount of time could be different given that each patient is different. Bottom line, he is skilled a surgeon and comes equipped with an excellent bedside manner. He was personally interested in me having as stress-free a surgical experience as was possible. He checks all the boxes for the kind of surgeon you need to provide you with a tip-top surgical experience in every respect.

I had a TKR a little over 3 weeks ago and I couldn't be more satisfied with the care given by Dr. Ezzet and his incredible staff. Dr. Ezzet's expertise, knowledge and patience gave me the confidence to go forward with this procedure. No question or doubt is trivial. He answered all questions and provided explanations. When the staples were removed by my PCP, she remarked at the excellent work done by Dr. Ezzet. His staff, including his assistant Dr. Udall and his Fellow Dr. Squires; Megan (RN) and Stephanie were very patient, extremely knowledgable and very responsive. Had both knees replaced two months apart. So glad I didn't do both at the same time, even though this would have gotten it over more quickly. This is an excellent team! Everything pretty much on time. Efficient. Excellent surgeon. Both "Fellows" I worked with were good. Megan, Dr. Ezzet's assist, responded quickly to my many email questions. The staff at Scripps was great. I really liked having the Force app. For anyone having this surgery, don't put it off too long, and do lots of PT BEFORE. Your recovery will be so much easier.

I am extremely pleased with Dr. Ezzet and his entire team and nursing staff. They were concerned with my comfort , both pre and post care. I am on the road to complete recovery, in the future I will need a right knee replacemant, I will not hesitate to go with Dr. Ezzet.

Dr Ezzet's team is awesome. From preop to postop the care I received was outstanding. I am an 88 year old woman who has suffered with an arthritic knee for over 30 years. I tried everything but nothing worked. Finally, I opted for surgery and am very happy with the results of Dr Ezzets skills and his team, including the therapy.

Dr case Ezzet Is fabulous. He Evaluated my situation not only was I bone on bone in both knees but severely bowlegged and walked with a limp for the last 4 years. He looked at my legs and said you're strong enough to do them both at once and if we do that I will then be able to correct your bow legeedness and limp. I had the surgery in March of 2024 and i am now recovering. Went to physical therapy and just had my re-eval with Dr asset and he said I'm doing good I'm walking better I have no pain when I walk and I am no longer bowlegged and no longer limp. Dr. Ezzet is amazing I would highly recommend him to anyone who wanted to have their knees done properly thank you.
