Dr. Kalena K Hwang, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Hwang's for about 10 years and am very happy with her. She always spends a lot of time with me and answers all my questions. She takes good care of me.

When she feels she is getting too close to a field of knowledge in which she is not well versed, she tends to skirt the subject so as not to expose ignorance, giving an answer that is so vague or noncommittal as to be worthless. My health cannot afford this.

She has deep-seated anger issues. Understandable but does not help her professionally.

Knowledgeable and caring.

Dr. Kalena Hwang, MD is an excellent conscientious and knowledgeable physician with a professional courteous staff. I highly recommend Dr. Hwang.

She was very conscious and concerned about my overall health including family history, ordering full blood tests and asking as many questions as possible, taking the time to fully assess my situation even though I'm only in my 30's and appear to be in overall good general health. When my BP taken by the nurse seemed borderline high, she took it herself just to be sure, and confirmed that it was normal. Scheduled a follow up and annual physical right away to further assess my health and see if my symptoms had improved. Attempted to address all of my immediate health concerns with adequate treatment options. In the past I've always been relatively comfortable with my general health and only go to the urgent care when I am sick or have some sort of injury, and often bypass dealing with a PCP out of convenience (weekends, evenings, no appt necessary). However due to the good experience, I plan to continue to use Dr. Hwang for my ongoing medical care and treatment, as long as I'm… able to schedule appointments in a timely manner. I believe I'll get the same level of care and the office is convenient to me.

Really like Dr Hwang. She is very professional and straight to the point. The office is very modern looking and comfortable.
