Dr. Kamala Foster, MD

Very unprofessional. I waited for 3+ hrs. to get check by Dr. Kamala. Many people came after me and she took them. I had an appt and i came early to avoid any delays. I guess because I was Latin they did not care. I could not keep waiting needed it to got back to work. So, i re-scheduled for next day. Next day i have to wait but it was not as long the waiting. She start speaking Spanish to me just because of my looks. Several weeks after I got a bill for the two days service. This was my yearly routine check. I should not be charge for 2 days service while she was the one that fail to take me in a timely manner. I called her office they did not want to do an adjustment . I called the insurance and they told me that I need to deal directly with her. I ended up paying for the 2 days otherwise will go to collections. Months later and now in the epidemic. I called her because at time I haven't changed my primary dr and could't wait afraid of Coronavirus related.. Many doctors are not… taking fist time patients. She refuse to take the virtual appt because I challenged the bill according to her office. They told me to go to emergency. I won't recommend her. I felt discriminated, not professional, overcharging and unwilling to work with you if there is a bill issues. I am submitting a complain with the insurance.

My mom had an appointment as a new patient and our appointment was 3:30pm and we came in earlier to do the paper work. 4:37pm they finally took us to the room where the student practitioner took her vitals and asked us questions. Now, I asked the front desk where was the doctor and they told me she was in the building. Now, my dad was waiting outside in the car for more than 30 mins and he saw Dr. Foster came in at 5:27pm.. Moreover, this doctor was rude and immediately started speaking Spanish because she assumed and nationality was Hispanic. Then, she did not even talked to my mom directly and was very condescending. She was rude to me when it comes to suggesting something in regards to my moms health and I told her I would get the info and research it later. She then began changing her tone towards me as if I don't understand what she is saying.

Accepted my mother as a new patient, then called her the night before the appointment to cancel after I sent them forms to help us complete for her short-term disability coverage. We did tell them at the time of booking that we had forms we needed to fill out and they confirmed the appointment. They said they didn't have enough information to complete the forms, then suggested I find a new doctor who could... and when I said she had only been to the emergency room for the condition and offered to send them the paperwork, they still refused to see her. They left my mom in a bad situation as we wasted time waiting for the appointment and we are now possibly going to miss the already tight deadline for her disability paperwork, which would cause a denial and loss of pay at an already difficult time.

EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I have never been spoken to or treated with such disrespect by a "MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL."

Kamala Foster takes her time with her patients. She listen and is a. thorough.

Dr. Foster not only listens but also cares. Her follow up is excellent, appointment's are easily scheduled and accommodating. She is also fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Foster is knowledgeable and wants the patient to understand what is going on. She takes time to explain things and has been fabulous for me. I would highly rate this professional and courteous doctor!!
