Dr. Kan Pam Chen, DO

I saw Dr Kan Chen in the ER where I was taken by ambulance from Urgent Care. The admitting doctor told me I would be admitted for observation since I probably had the flu and possibly had pneumonia and bronchitis. When Dr. Chen took over she decided to send me home at 10pm at night after I told her I was really sick and afraid of being home alone. She brushed off my fears (I usually downplay my illness) and told me to find a ride or they would arrange one. My discharge papers listed one diagnosis as severe sepsis with acute organ dysfunction. I am a 72 year old women with asthma and lung issues. Several other doctors have told me I should have NOT been released.

She discharged patient with pneumonia ( undiagnosed) newly diagnosed stage IV cancer, recent series of strokes( denied happening in the hospital) impaired patients vision and cognition. Blood clots and heart issues due to recent cancer diagnosis. Said if she let the patient stay 1 more day she could lose he license due to Medicare fraud... Can I give negative stars. HIPPA violations as I heard her speaking rudely about the patient to nurses at the station
