Dr. Kara Lea Kern, MD

Dr. Keen is very caring and professional. She has always made time to explain things and genuinely cares about her patients.

I was involved in an accident where I fell and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. As they checked me out, I was told to contact my primary care doctor. I was not able to get an appointment with Dr. Kern, but they asked me if it was okay to see her PA, Holly Preslar. I agreed and was not disappointed with this visit. Holly is very professional and went over all my concerns from the accident. She was very thorough and every place I told her I was hurting was examined by her. I had already had tests done at Methodist Hospital (where the doctor who had done my knee surgeries was). I brought that info with me and Holly was going to get in touch with them to see what the outcomes were of the testing. She also gave me a prescription for pain. I cannot tell you how professional Holly was and I was totally impressed. She is as great as Dr. Kern and she left no stone unturned. After that visit, she had me get an x-ray of my toe because it was black and blue and hurting. She… wanted to be sure it wasn't broken. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE. Everyone, including the front desk, are professional and concerned. I wanted everyone to know about this visit. Thank you, Dr. Kern.

Very Rude Customer service ...I would not ever recommend this Physician...

Dr. Kern was a very nice lady. She had a good bedside manner and did a great job. Her staff on the other hand is very rude. Several times I called to make an appointment and they acted like they were the gate keepers. They would not let me make and appointment after I was in a car accident to get checked out. They said no and I had to go through my car insurance. They do not answer questions and one time put me on hold for 20 mins. I finally had to hang up. When go to the office they are very nice to your face but over the phone extemely rude. I'm sure Dr. Kern does not know about how they treat patients otherwise I think she would fire them.

very satisfied. First doctor who didn't write prescriptions for every ache and pain. first doctor who wrote NO prescriptions my first visit, instead is testing and putting the whole picture together, in perspective
