Dr. Karen Cadman, MD

Dr. Cadman was my PCP. She had always been nice and super knowledgeable. I rarely saw her because I had been pretty healthy in the past. I became super sick in Feb 2021. I called her office and she was unavailable so they gave me Dr. Levine (who was fantastic). Somehow, Dr. Cadman started to take over my messaging with Dr. Levine, I guess because she's my PCP. She asked me why I had been going to so many Dr's and ER's. I told her it's because I was super sick and was taking any appointment I could get. I was soooo desperate. I missed 3+ weeks of work, couldn't drive, had trouble breathing, restless leg syndrome, dizziness, headaches, weakness amongst about 10 other symptoms. It felt like a deficiency deep in my body, I can't explain why. I responded to her one night with symptoms. She didn't reply. It was all terrifying. My family was terrified. It was palpable fear. She didn't reply to those messages but she would reply to other ones like asking for paperwork, yet she wondered why I… kept going elsewhere. After 3 desperate doctor visits (I was so desperate because I felt like I was going to die. I took any appointment I could find) and 3 ER's I figured out on my own that I was iron deficient (causes and symptoms fit like a glove) so I asked Dr. Cadman why nobody would check my ferritin. (I was soooo frustrated at that point and losing trust in the healthcare system) Again, no response. At a minimum, she could have responded and told me a direction to go (go back to Dr. Levine, or go see her), but instead I was left with a neurologist visit weeks away (I had already missed weeks of work and had terrifying shortness of breath, brain fog, the list goes on). Instead, she did not even respond. Desperate to save my life (I know it sounds dramatic but it's true) I googled all day every day. When I came across iron and it fit like an absolute glove, I tested myself using walkinlab.com, I confirmed I was in fact iron deficiency without anemia (nobody checked it before), and I treated myself. As of today, 3 months later, my ferritin went from an 8 to a 50 from my own diagnosis and treatment and I feel 100% better. It is a shame that the most common deficiency in the world was ignored. I received confirmation from Sharp and I have been going to a Naturopathic Dr. ever since who also confirmed it. Dr. Cadman did not help me or even take the time to respond to my health messages when I was the sickest I have ever been in my life.

My wife and I have been Dr Cadman’s patients for roughly 4 years. In that time we have been very impressed with her professionalism, knowledge, a great bed side manner, sense of humor and caring attitude. Anna and the rest of the staff at her office also deserve a great deal of praise. I might mention in the short time we’ve had the privilege of being her patients she has saved my life twice the last time was last weekend. In closing if you need a fantastic doctor one who truly cares she’s for you.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cadman for ten years and she is a remarkable primary care physician. I have never had to wait long to see her and she is always pleasant and explains everything clearly. Takes her time and I never feel she is too busy to answer all my questions. Makes referrals to very good specialists when needed. She is very knowledgeable.

NO ONE should suffer her self-righteous abuse & poor care. She guesses at things a quick Internet check would correct, misdiagnosis, laughs at you if you question her...or prove her wrong, etc. She talks to patients like they are 7 yr olds & she is she evil god-mother. Shouldn't have gotten a degree!

I recently saw Dr. Cadman and I was not sure I wanted a female MD but she had come so recommended by some friends that I thought I would try her. Very pleased, very professional and helpful. A good choice.

Dr. Cadman is an understanding physician who is very willing to answer questions that you might have. She is thorough and wants you to have a follow-up visit to see if a particular problem has improved. I feel I'm in good hands.

Dr. Cadman is a true professional, with a caring bedside manner. She always takes time with me, never rushes through the appointment like so many others tend to do. She explains things in a way I can understand. I feel lucky to have her as my physician and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
