Dr. Karen Ac Lawson, MD

I've been going to Dr. Lawson for more than 10 years. She is incredibly engaged, and very proactive in dealing with your health. Having previously had a doctor who was not very attentive, it was refreshing to find someone who asked the right questions, explained things clearly, and took a very interactive approach to my medical care. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Dr. Karen Lawson outshines all other internists in my experience. I have gone to her for over twenty years and have found her to be knowledgeable, caring, empathetic, and an extremely good listener who takes time with you and makes you feel like you're visiting with a friend.

Dr. Lawson is simply the best!!!!!!!

I was told by the secretary that they accepted my insurance, but once I arrived for my appointment I was confronted in a manner unbecoming of a professional. Dr. Lawson felt the need to criticize my health insurance, even though it was her secretary who told me that they accepted my carrier! Her attitude was demeaning, confrontational, and lacked any type of compassion or empathy. Clearly I was disposable once my insurance plan was no longer the one preferred by this Physician. The irony of this is that I called my carrier and they stated that she was in their network. The broader point though is that she felt that she would be seeing me for free, and so was quick to get me out of her office ALTHOUGH I was a returning patient! I have never left a Doctor's office feeling so unwelcome. This is really a tragedy considering that this is someone who considers herself to be in the "helping professions".

Dr. Lawson is an indisposable part of my life. She has incredible patience and excellent bedside manner. She is knowledgable on many topics of medicine.
