Dr. Karen Y Luster, MD

On 11-19-2020 I was forced to reschedule my appt, by Dr. Luster rude, vile, inconsiderate medical assistant (the tall light skin woman) after driving 240 miles to to get there. The MA forced me to reschedule my appt that day, after I sat in the waiting room to see the Dr. for an hour, simply because I stepped outside in the hallway to take a six minute important phone call from a manager at the hospital. I called the front desk receptionist at 11:26 am on that day, almost three hours in advance, to notify her about my ETOA. I explained to her that I was in a traffic jam on I-75 and that was going to almost double my commute time. I asked her could I still see Dr. Luster knowing that I would arrive at 3:00pm instead of my scheduled time of 1:15pm, and she simply said yes, that would be ok, she would put me in the system as a 3:00pm patient. I’m leaving this review in hopes that Dr. Luster will see this and realize that her office staff is running her medical staff like a circus and… treating new patients like a bag of garbage. If Dr. Luster contact me about my horrendous experience with her office staff then I will delete this review, until then it will remain.

Very Caring and Compassionate, Checked for everything and anything. explain what was going on and what causes it and what steps She'll take to look into it. ordered a lot of labs.... I'm 62 years old and I've never had such a caring and compassionate Doctor! Keep up the Great work Dr. Karen Luster !

I went to this doctor couple of years ago never went back. This is not a good doctor her smile was deceiving she was direspectable to me . word of advise because a person has a big smile does not mean she is good.

Dr. Luster is a very kine doctor, she takes the time to listen to her patients. I was her patient at another location, which was only 5 miles from my home. Decatur I moved with her. I could not phantom the thought of any other Doctor. I love the fact she will check everything out before she give a diagnosis.

Dr Luster is a caring compassionate person which can make caring for an elderly parent easier. She is genuine with her care.

I am in love with this Dr. Her knowledge is outstanding. You are treated as a person not a file number. She talks to you not at you.

The wait time is not too bad, but i dont like sitting in the exam room for half hour. Dr. Luster seems to not listen to what is going on too well, she makes her mind up about things too fast for me, Im trying to find another Dr. and no I wont tell my famiy or friends about her

Dr. Luster was very compassionate, empathetic and an active listener. She knew based on the information I provided what she needed to do for me medically. She is exceptional.

Went to see a doctor I've been seeing for a few months, only seeing him because he took over the practice where another doctor was working, until she took a job with a major health insurance company. Was beginning to like him, but when I went in this past week, I saw the new female doctor, Dr. Karen Luster. I have had CP in my back and neck for years, dealing with DDD, scoliosis, sciatica, bulging and compressed disc, yet she referred me to see a shrink, basically telling me it's all 'in my head' ~ that I really don't feel any pain, I just THINK I do. LIKE the staff and like the male doctor, or was beginning to.
