Dr. Karen B Seroussi, DO

Dr Seroussi is an excellent doctor she stabilized me multiple times before I got into an outpatient program and I realized there was a problem. She I’m sure already knew about this. She never gave up on me. She kept going and believed in me. And the program I got into with her help was a game changer. While I did have to move out of the area I could not have done this without her guidance along the way. She was a crucial part of my treatment team. She is rare and amazing and if you need a doctor, she will help you. She’s kind, caring and looks at the big picture. She’s the best, hands down.

My daughter has ADHD and Asbergers , Dr Seroussi's aproach was the best fit for my daughter ! In the past two years with her guidance my daughter's overall situation improved 180 degrees. It has been like night and day ! Her focus and grades in school have improved greatly . She is happy, relaxed and now has friends !!! ( She has had a lifetime of social anxiety, so this was a breakthrough for us) Dr Seroussi, has a unique approach, she listens carefully and does not jump to conclusions. She handles medication slowly which we appreciated since we did not want our daughter to be over medicated. Nor did we want a quick fix. We wanted a long term solution... and she gave us that. We can't thank her enough for helping my teen in a way that has changed her life for the better. (and forever) She is so happy now !!! We would definitively recommend her !

Dr. Seroussi was extremely rude to both me and my son (the prospective patient), who has Asperger's, ADHD, anxiety, OCD. She kept us waiting for at least 20 minutes past our appointment time for our initial consult. This was our first time to her office, and no one warned us that she was running late when we checked in. My son, who is already anxious in social settings, became agitated as the minutes ticked by. When she finally emerged, she yelled at me in front of my son, refused to apologize, and told me to leave if we couldn't stand waiting. We were completely shocked by her behavior, especially since she is a pediatric psychiatrist. This encounter was quite upsetting to both me and my son, and it took him days to get over it. She is in the wrong field, and should be ashamed of herself.
