Dr Schwartz was very specific regarding my problem and how to help me and where to start. Would suggest to other patients.

I concur with many of the other reviewers. I had the displeasure of having Karin Swartz assigned to me as my neurosurgeon. She is dismissive and appears emotionally unstable - told me that my imaging wasn't that bad even though three other neurosurgeons disagreed with her. Since she wasn't apparently knowledgeable enough to read past imaging she agreed to order more updated ones, which she lied and later told me to pay for it on my own. Afterward a good friend of mine said that she has worked with her in the OR (OR nurse) and that she is very slow and often goes over the operating suite's given time, often by hours to do the same surgeries as other providers. She also has made more mistakes as well. Please steer clear of this person if you value your or your loved ones health. This woman is dangerous and should be investigated.

She did my spinal surgery earlier this year, excellent results. She is thorough, compassionate, knowledgeable, personable, etc. She's done cervical fusions on other friends I know, as well as some of my patients, great results each time. I'd recommend her to anyone.

She may be nice to you during the first visit, but don't let that fool you. She is rude, impatient with are patients and unsympathetic.

This dr is a nut case. Whe told me to go home and do exercises and when I advise her I had been in physical therapy for 3 months with the same exercises she was advising me to do. Her response was to go online and see if I can find anything to help me. GO ONLINE!!!! Isn't that why I came to see her was to help me????

I had an appointment with this dr today I was seen really fast because they said she had a lot of no show patients and I can see why!! She didn't care I was in pain and had been for two years!! I do not recommend her what so ever!!

Today was my first visit with Dr. Swartz. She was very professional, answered all my questions and I felt I was the only patient she had! I would recommend her to anyone.

The only time she spoke pleasantly and with any degree of interest was when she was explaining the images of my daughter's MRI. She would be better suited to be a technician of inanimate objects because she has NO skill in relating to human beings.

This woman is a nut. DON'T let her cut on you. She is a psyco. Most ignorant Doctor I ever met. How did she get a job at U of K Hospital.Get another surgeon, not her.
