Dr. Karissa Lynn Hackelton, MD

This is not my usual doctor at the practice. I had to see her via telahealth for a med check. She was straight forward to the point no fluff. Until we got to the end when she asked about a Covid vaccine. I stated that I wouldn’t be getting one and her response was “Why do you want to die from Covid?”. I explained my religious standpoint and she was nasty and hung up on me. She was demeaning and belittling towards me after I said I wouldn’t be getting the vaccine.

I have tried so hard to find a PCP that really loves their job and shows genuine concern for their patients. I heard good things about this physician so really wanted to like her but I just don't see it. I've had a couple of appointments with her and they went exactly the same. I felt super rushed and barely had time to voice any of my concerns which mostly just all got discounted without second thought anyway. Doesn't try to form any kind of true connection and l left feeling like I completely wasted my time.

This doctor has poor communication skills and does not return phone calls as well has rushing you through the appointment.

We have been going to Dr. Hackleton for about five and a-half years and are so very happy with the care we receive. She has a wonderful bedside manner, always listens, and works with us to ensure we have the best help possible. She also loves my service dog, so that's a big A+++

Awesome Doctor. She listens to you

She didn't seem to have time to spend with patient. This was a first time visit with this doctor and was not impressed. Didn't even have time to answer questions, simply said "I don't know" when questioned about certain aliment on her way out the door after briefly looking in ears, listening to heart and lungs and checking reflexes. That was the extent of the 5 minute initial visit for my annual check-up.

A true professional with excellent bedside manners. Don’t miss out on being her patient.

Dr. Hackelton always takes the time to answer any questions you may have. She does not hesitate to send you for a test or a specialist if she feels it's something that needs to be checked out further. My family all have her as our Primary doctor. I have referred many to her.

Compassionate, caring, listens to your concerns Shows genuine interest in your well being.

She does such a poor job of billing, I wonder about her medical knowledge. Last year I saw her the day after she had been on vacation and she was too busy to pay much attention to me.
