I had (repeat HAD) very severe sleep apnea - 90 interruptions an hour) and started developing central sleep apnea in addition to the obstructive. I needed surgery badly. I researched many doctors here on Vitals.com and went to visit 4 of them. I had to have tonsils, adenoids, uvula and part of my palate removed as well as septoplasty and some sinus work done at almost 50 yrs old. So finding a good surgeon was paramount. Upon my visiting with the doctors, I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Aberle. She understood my issues, explained everything very clearly and completely, described exactly what my options were including each procedure, pain/recovery involved, how much she thought each procedure would affect my sleep apnea, discovered a polyp in my sinuses that no other doctor had even seen and just all the way around was great. My wife even liked her. I had the surgery and within a week was off pain meds and just on Advil. Within two weeks was completely healed and within 3… weeks was back at work and just fine. Sleeping like a log for 7 hours straight, my wife has mentioned multiple times that I am MUCH quieter and I feel like a million bucks. I also am a professional singer and my voice is noticeably improved. Also her staff is amazing. They did so much work with me to get insurance paperwork done, I was out on short term disability and they helped me with that. Great office visit experiences. I am telling you it was as easy and painless as it could have been. I would give Dr. Aberle 10 stars if I could. If you need surgery for anything related to ear, nose and throat, I would stop your search once you find Dr. Aberle.
