Dr. Katherine is wonderful.

I don't mind waiting for Dr Johnson because I know she will give me her undivided attention once she gets in.

Dr Johnson has been my pcp for about 4 years, but this past year has made it clear I need a new, more caring, ACCESSIBLE doctor. I had severe health issues early this year and required a refill of an emergency drug before going out of town. She denied the request and refused to speak to me about it on the phone even though I called in tears multiple times across multiple days. The next appt when I brought it up she tried to blame the office staff. She clearly did not care about the distress she caused me. Another instance was when one of the meds she prescribed me over this summer started giving me horrible side effects. I messaged her through MyChart (it says to allow up to 2 business days for a response). I waited 8 days and messaged her again. Her extremely delayed response was simply suggesting I stop taking it, which I had already done on my own while waiting so long to hear from her. The impression she gives is she wants maximum appointments for maximum profits but with… minimum time / care spent with patients. If you have any medical needs beyond a yearly physical / vaccines, I would stay away from her. She does not have the time or consideration to properly care for her patients. I hope she isn’t still accepting new patients because the ones she has are already being neglected. For the record I have several health issues, which equals several doctors, and she is the only one who has time and time again NOT done her job. I won’t go into medical details on a review but I intend to make a formal complaint with more information.

Dr Johnson is an excellent primary care physician. I am so blessed to have her as my doctor.
