Dr. Katherine Swing was born in Naples, Florida and attended Stetson University in DeLand, FL where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated summa cum laude. She then received her medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. During medical school, she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha honorary medical society and was awarded the Tampa General Hospital Medical Staff and Clinical Scholar's Award. She completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, serving as Chief Resident in her final year of training.

Upon graduation, Dr. Swing practiced at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center as a clinical instructor, teaching residents and medical students surgical skills as well as giving numerous didactic lectures.

She was in private practice for 12 years before practicing at Ochsner Health from 2016 to 2022

I explained to Dr. Swing about my health and wellness issues, she listened, and she gave me the best advice and treatment program that has me feeling on top of the world. I am 72 yrs. old and I feel like I am 36 again. Dr. Swing is the greatest, and best of all she listens to women's post-menopausal concerns and is eager to help. I have been going to Dr. Catherine Swing since I was in my early 30's and she is still keeping me well and energetic.

Dr. Swing is very professional, knowledgable. She listens to what your needs are and covers all your questions. I wish I had found her years ago.

Dr. Swing is without a doubt one of the best Doctor's I have ever been to. She was very thorough, caring, compassionate, informative, and genuine, to name a few things. I have a variety of medical complications and she made me feel so comfortable in a time that, for me, was very uncomfortable and unsettling. I could never thank her enough for everything she did and said. I hope this review encourages women with complications or those who are nervous to go to the doctor for any reason, to never stop until you find the right doctor that is the right fit. Good Luck!
