Dr. Katherine A Wilson, DO

My primary Dr moved and I was given this Dr. Wilson. I went to see her because I had a stuffy nose. Dr. Wilson did not look in my nose just gave me antibiotics for 5 days. I had to beg for them because she wanted me to use over the counter decongestants. I explained to her that I had been for a month. Went back a week later worse. She told me, "oh well I guess you will just need to wait it out since the medicine did not work". Did not look in my nose again nor did she refer me to an ENT. Long story short. I ended up in emergency room so sick. I was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer in my sinuses. Skull based nasal mucosal melanoma. Thanks ms Wilson . You are no Dr.

IF you can talk to a person when you call, they will be rude and unhelpful every time. Dr. Wilson does not listen and just tries to prescribe a pill without taking the time to truly listen to what is going on with you. She tells you, "That's normal." --Not helpful and not true. Don't see her as your physician.

Dr. Wilson was unable to see a longstanding, severely ill patient for 1 week because she was busy covering for patients for her partner doctor.

I see her for chronic back pain. She is a great Dr. Very caring and listens. Her staff is wonderful as well.

I have been seeing Dr. Wilson for years for chronic back pain.While she is sweet she has only touched me once. She has NEVER done any type of OMT on me. I have to tell her how I want to be treated. I have to tell her where to refer me. I am now in worse condition then I was when I started seeing her. Again she is sweet and nice, I'm sure a wonderful person but NOT a good DO. She does need more training in the DO area. She may as well have M.D after her name.

I started with Dr. Wilson about two years ago after going to the same doc for 26 years. Her kind, caring manner struck me greatly. She always carries a small PDR with her to make sure she is double-checking herself. She explains everything fully, she is upbeat and wonderful. Her nurses are great. The front desk staff is rude and has the personalities of rocks, but she is worth going to.

Went to her to get a renewal for my blood pressure pills since my primary had left town. My insurance wanted me to try a generic. I had been on the pills for several years and my blood pressure was in check. I tried the generic and my pressure kept going up and I broke out in hives on my arms. My insurance ok'd for me to go back on the blood pressure pill without her. I wanted a presceiption for mail order and she refused to send one to my insurance company. It would be on her hands if I stroked out. DO NOT GO TO THIS D.O.

No dont recommend Staff sets tone completely rude and ignores patientsallows to stand and stare and does not acknowledge first encunter with accountant staff also demeaning. Could not explain my bill. Dr. Wilson does not put patients at ease only 3 years experience. does not use wholistic approach. Has not donea blood test physical great problem......for an osteopath who should see whole person. Therefore don't know my levels of need for supplements or blood clot info needed after sugery.very disappointing for an osteopath.needs more training in patient care and bedside manner and needs to look at ALL parts of history and be thorough.

I went to Dr. Wilson, with symptoms, which include, a missed period, aches around the mid area and hips and a vaginal discharge. She did NOT perform a pregnancy test, nor any infections. She just treated me for a yeast infection without checking. Then, she told me that my pain was from the fact that I needed to loose weight. Not to mention, when I left, I felt as if the trip was wasted and she made me feel like it was in my mind. She doesn't take the time with patients to properly diagnose. Needless to say, I ended up in emergency a few weeks later because I had an ectopic pregnancy. Something that she would have found had she taken the time to give a FEMALE a pregnancy test. Had she diagnosed me properly, I would NOT have had a growing fetus in my fallopian tube and my fallopian tube could have been saved. But instead, because I went several weeks misdiagnosed, I ended up in ER and undergoing emergency. Also, I hate the fact that when you make an appointment that her staff… ask, WHY do you need to be seen. Maybe a person doesn't want to give out such personal information. When you go for your appointment, the front office staff is generally rude and not very personable. They treat you as if you are stupid.
