Made me worse. Should not have been treating vulnerable patients and taking money from them for doing nothing at all. Had she been a competent doctor, she could have changed my life around but she had too many personal problems and she sat in silence, doing nothing but collecting payments.

Dr. Gold had some rather serious personal problems when I saw here and disappeared for months. I worked hard and just got worse. It was her responsibility to guide me to competent, professional therapy where a therapist actually interacted with patients and spoke. She sat silently and then said "we have to stop". My trajectory could have been much different had she actually done her job as a physician. Shameful. Took years of more therapy to process my time with her. Psychiatrists seem to do more harm than good. That was my experience and I regret ever meeting her.

I cannot say much that is positive about "Dr. Gold". She caused damage in treating me and the next doctor said if I had a better (competent) psychiatrist when I saw her--I would have gotten better instead of worse. Please stay clear of her for your health's sake never mind your wallet's sake. She abandons patients to take months of vacation leaving people with no care at all. Really self involved, selfish and harmful.

My overall experience with Dr. Gold was horrendous. I saw her for many years and kept thinking that she must know what she is doing and all that time and money would pay off in the end. It didn't. She is a disgrace to her profession and cares more about money and her life than her patients' wellbeing and circumstances. Her personal life should not be something a patient should have to pay for in malignant "care."
