Dr. Kathleen Mary Norman, MD

Her knowledge is very minimal and due to that she thinks she can laugh her patients when she can’t figure it out

I went to see Dr. Norman in 2014 for my Annual Exam. During the exam I informed Dr. Norman I was having pain on my right side down in my groin area. My concerns went unanswered. A couple weeks later I went back to see Dr. Norman for a follow-up appointment. She went over my lab results with me and prescribed an estrogen patch. I asked her again about the pain in my groin area. She said the estrogen patch would take are of the pain. After getting a second opinion from another Gynecologist, I was told that I did not need the estrogen patch and he suggested I get a CT Scan for my pain in my groin area. The CT Scan revealed an inguinal hernia. I had surgery for a inguinal hernia repair.

Be careful if you have any other issue than being pregnant. I became ill and was laughed at when she couldn’t figure things out. She was insinuating that it was mental. Changed doctors and was in emergency surgery within days, very lucky to be alive.

SO unknowledgeable. That was worrisome.

Dr. Norman and her staff are professional and courteous. Even though I waited past my scheduled appt time, I was given the doctors full attention when it was my turn. My questions and concerns were addressed and follow up from her office was also great. Will stick with Dr. Norman and her team.

I have visited Dr. Norman only a few times. She performed an annual exam. She failed to diagnose me correctly as well as address my swollen belly and how to proceed. She explained all my symptoms were unfounded.

Spoke with Dr. Norman as the on call Dr. for the clinic one evening due to my 2 day old c-section surgical glue peeling and my incision opening up. She told me it was "nothing to worry about and the sutures underneath are there". I explained to her that I was truly scared of infection (I do NOT scare easy) as the incision was about an inch opened up. She then stated "well if you're really worried you can go to the ER..but its really nothing." Ended up going to CVS and getting steri-strips and doing a pretty darn good job. Truly incredible that a Dr would tell you a surgical wound is okay open.... Followed up in clinic the next day and was reaffirmed that it WAS a big deal and was handled poorly.

The current number for Dr. Norman is no longer working. She was a great doctor and I wish I knew where she was now. Her support staff was terrible though and each visit it got worse. Emails and phone calls were never returned and requests for records and refills were never completed. I was even overcharged for a visit and it took 3 months to credit me back what they owed me. Jacob and the other receptionist had no clue what they were doing and were obviously stressed and frazzled, as they were often curt and rude. I am assuming she moved on. I wish the office had notified their patients. Sadly, they ruined the experience.

Dr. Norman is very kind However I question her surgical expertise its unfortunate with 18 yrs experience.I had an ablation done by Dr. Norman unfortunately it was unsuccessful in fact its worse than before and I'm miserable extremely disappointed

this is a greedy office upcharging the copayments. no follow thru and is surgry hungry.
