I highly recommend Dr K. Schabel who did my hip replacement. She is very proactive Surgeon, showed and explained fully my damaged hip and how she will correct it. She is so efficient, my surgery was fast and recovery was quick. A very caring and compassionate doctor, took good care of me, visited me during my sedation and after the procedure.

Dr Schabel really listened to me. She is a very skilled surgeon.

Dr. Schabel is EXCELLENT!! She’s a great doctor who has performed hundreds of these surgeries. She takes the time to explain her approach to the hip replacement, and has a wonderful warm manner. I was very comfortable going into surgery, and was surprised how quickly it ended when I woke up in the recovery room. She was there at the start while I was getting sedated, and was there when my husband requested my checkout that same day. And she was just as personable both times as in my first meeting with her. I felt so good after surgery, and my recovery has been amazingly quick. My hip feels good and there’s no pain in the joint. Dr. Schabel uses a minimal approach, meaning only a 3 inch cut for me. Within the first month, I was already walking without assistance. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. SCHABEL….BEST HIP SURGEON IN OREGON!!

Dr. Schabel is an excellent physician and surgeon. She is also quick and efficient at surgery. I had minimal pain and healed quickly. Futhermore, she is extremely compassionate and caring for her patients. I would never want anyone else. She is simply the best!

I woke up after my hip replacement with 0 pain meds I don't understand how they can do this to anyone. After the spinal wore off I got a low dose of meds that did not help at all. When Dr. Shcabel came in I said something about my pain she looked at me and said "just remember you asked for this surgery ". I was sent home to early I was hoping they would help manage my pain before I got told I was being checked out. I thought being there I would have better treatment I was wrong. Skipped my 2week appt when I see her I'll be asking for a referral.

great doctor with wonderful bedside manner. very professional and personable. Into her patients and their needs. takes time to fully engage patients and concerns. Great surgeon with wonderful skills. great office people who show concern and empathy for clients.
