Dr. Katie Pandolfo, MD

I called Dr.Pandolfo's office to make an appointment due to the sudden appearance of floaters in one eye. I was told that if I didn't come in that same day -which was not possible for me- then neither Dr. Pandolfo nor any other opthalmologist in that practice was available at all to see me at all; they refused to make an appointment for me later that week or in fact, ever. In addition, I was told that it was 'URGENT' that I immediately see an opthalmologist ASAP - even though Dr. Pandolfo obviously never examined me and thus had no idea if I had an emergency or not. I called another specialist and I had an appointment the next day; I got a very thorough exam and nothing is wrong. I can't imagine a professional, ethical MD telling me I have an emergency but then refuse to make an appointment or refer me to another specialist in their practice. I guess it was lucky that I was treated so badly, as I found another, far superior opthalmologist's practice as a result.

Dr Pandolfo is an excellent surgeon. She combines her extraordinary skill with a warm personality and gentle nature , I highly recommend her
