Dr. Katie Elizabeth Wilson, MD

Sadly, the staff that represents this doctor are not doing their jobs, and have communication skills that do not represent this doctor. She should know that this is the reason I will no longer take my child to see her, as they did not provide a link, which I had an in-person office visit.  when they changed her appointment, which was in person, and did not clarify their policies on appointments. Sadly, this review is for the staff on the above issues. .In addition, I have had nothing but problems too, getting my child's medications by the doctor filled in a timely manner, and when I would call asking them to send it to the pharmacy they were unkind and nonchalant about it. I have managed both my daughter's and granddaughter's special needs for decades and have dealt with many specialists. If you do not want to be stressed out about getting medication sent to your pharmacy which should be done by the doctor, and not having to call to remind them, and get proper office reminders… appointments, then I would recommend not using this doctor for the above experiences discussed above.

Dr Wilson refused to contact my husband about his daughter who was under her car. He called and sent emails. Our next step is to report her to the medical board. His daughter is mentally ill and he has joint medical. Very poor ethics in the office. Her husband is the secretary and does not relay information accurately we found as well.

After reading about Dr. Katie Wilson, I was very excited to schedule an appointment for her to see my daughter. However, I was refused. Dr. Wilson's husband, Frank, who answered the phone, found a record of me making an appointment a year ago, and then allegedly not contacting to cancel. No amount of my trying to reason with him that I did, in fact, call to cancel, made any difference. I have an excellent track record with all out doctors, no missed appointments, and it was such an unfortunate experience speaking with someone who showed no compassion or human emotion as if I already somehow offended him personally, though I was only trying to suggest that perhaps there was a clerical error. My child needs help, but at this point it's clear that the office of Dr. Wilson, ran by her husband, will not be providing it. Most disturbing experience.

Its not easy finding help for your kids in the St. Charles county area, but we were lucky to find Dr. Katie Wilson and i would recommend her to anyone seeking help for their kid.
