I have been going to Dr Rao for several years. I love her ,she always has your best care in mind, very detailed. the office staff is excellent and prompt. Wait time can be longer but that is because she takes time with you also, never feel rushed. sheila

Dr. Rao is the most compassionate and empathetic doctor I've seen thus far in my life. She is non-judgmental and CARES about her patients. She is easy to talk to and really listens to my concerns. I feel very blessed and lucky to have found Dr. Rao and her amazing staff! Thank you!

Would never recommend Dr. Rao based on her bi-polar personality. Has nothing to do with her credentials, but she one minute pretends to be concerned about your health issues, then a minute later will scold you like a child! No doctor or anyone else for that matter should ever treat anyone that way. It is completely unacceptable, PERIOD!!! Not sure what her problem is, but we FIRED her as our doctor! Other patients also mention the same. She is beyond RUDE. Thankfully she is NOT the only doctor in America or in Florida. We are extremely pleased with our new doctor and staff. A degree does not take place of being a decent human being. She expects to be treated with respect, well patients deserve the same, respect and dignity.

This doctor treated me horribly and i actually left her office in tears more than once. No patient should ever have to put up the treatment i got from her I am a 64 year old woman with chronic pain an arthritis throughout my whole body. She always addressed the fact that i was on pain medication an did not address the issues that i came in to be treated for I went there for the last time because of swollen ankle and tooth infection. She did not even look ay my ankle or tooth She was angry with me an told me that if i got bloodwork, then she might give me a script for antibiotic. Really?? She might give to me Another time i had a migraine an was out of my medicine. She refused my refill an told me to get it from my pain doctor. She would only give referrals to her Indian colleagues an nobody else. My pain doc i had been seeing for over 3 years an she made it known that she did not approve. I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor that i left the office in tears. She is… mean and rude. I now have a simply wonderful doctor who takes good vare of me an assures me i will never leave in tears.

This doctor lies about what is covered by your insurance just so she can control the amount of money her ipa has to pay out. She is the most useless doctor I have ever run across. I wish I could have given -10 stars but 1 is as low as your ratings will go.

“Excellent” is an understatement. I’ve known Dr. Kavita Rao for many years. I’m an RN and I have had the pleasure to work with her, throughout my nursing career- in an acute care setting. I’ve taken care of her patients and I have witnessed first hand, the exceptional care she provides to her patients. Through the years, Dr. Rao has been a respected physician that I’ve had the honor to work beside. My original PCP, retired a few years ago, so I needed to establish care with another primary care physician. I chose Dr. Rao immediately, and it really was a no brainer. I live in Pasco County, so that goes to show, that she’s worth the travel time. Dr. Rao spends one on one time with her patients. She never rushes you, like most doctors offices-that feel like a revolving door, running on a time clock. Instead, she takes her time to care for you as an individual. She takes the time to listen to your comments, questions, concerns and needs. She takes the time to answer all of your questions,… as well as provide feedback and medical advice that is patient centered. She’s truly one of a kind! Dr. Rao has been a colleague, whom I’ve always admired. Over the years, she’s become a cherished friend, who I also value-as my very own primary care provider.

I would not even let this person take care of my dog.

She wants to send all referrals to the places she wants you to go despite you having to gone to others (referred by her) for many years, all the sudden you cannot go there. She is domineering and nasty and tells you its my way or not at all. Avoid at all costs.

I would not take my dog here, save your money
