I knew I wanted to become a Physical Therapist from the age of 15 when I received physical therapy myself. As a two team competitive dancer, my knees were angry at me for how much stress and strain I was putting them through so I found myself in the therapists office. Throughout my time, I felt like the physical therapist did not explain things to a young 15 year old stubborn athlete to allow for full understanding how doing side planks was going to help my knees to be able to dance without pain. Because of feeling this way, I wanted to be able to be that person for other people.My patient care philosophy is all about educating you on the what, why, and how behind your reason for seeing me. I think it is important to explain how the movements I prescribe you are going to help you and how it's going to help you. I believe in working with you to create ways to get rid of, manage, and/or prevent injury.
