Dr. Keith Logan, MD

My daughter was given Klonapin while she was in Presbyterian hospital in 2008 by Dr. Logan. We had a medical POA stating that she definitely did not want to take this medication! When she told us over the phone that he threatened, intimidated, belittled and pressured her to take it, we immediately called the patient advocate and told her the whole thing. The hospital lawyers even went over the POA we presented them looking for loopholes and they didn’t find any. When Dr Logan found out about this, he told our daughter, “so, your parents called administration.” We didn’t. The patient advocate took care of everything. We met with the Director of the Mental Health Dept and he listened to us for at least an hour, writing down everything we told him. We later heard that there have been other disciplinary actions taken against him! When we met with Dr Logan and the Director, Dr Logan said he would care for our daughter for another month. I immediately declared that he won’t be seeing her… one more minute!!! We were furious that he disrespected our daughter’s rights and wishes. He disregarded the Medical POA! Those who have psychological issues need to be protected because a lot of times, they are unaware of what’s happening to them and they are not allowed to do anything about it. He was intimidating her and everything he could to get her to take the only medication she did not want to take! I know this is 17 years past the incident, yet I needed to put it down somewhere and this was the first time I saw that I could do it. I’m pleased to say that with caring, compassionate and certified doctors who adhere to moral standards, she is now living independently and has a full filling life!

The guy will prescribe you placebos and not tell you. Not only is that dangerous for the patient, but highly unethical. Manipulation and deception do not belong in ANY relationship, especially from your doctor. Do not trust this man.

He is an excellent doctor cares about his patients. Been seeing him going on a year. He is with you to figure out your problem and come up with treatment plan.

Dr. Logan is so nice and has a very good way of showing he cares. He has kept me stable on my medications . I am a new patient and he is a breathe of fresh air! A good psychiatrist is very hard to find in this area. Thank you Doctor

This doctor asked questions but would not LOOK at me! He was fixated on his laptop, always saying that there was a problem with it. When he finally got the issues resolved, he would type notes using the computer rather than looking at you and talking TO you.His therapist, Terri, was excellent!!! She was the total opposite of Dr. Logan. I don't see how she dealt with him. Despite having great educational credentials, this psychiatrist has NO TRAITS THAT WOULD LEAVE ONE TO BELIEVE THAT HE IS IN THE HEALING BUSINESS!!!

this dr. prescribed very potent psychotropic medication without warning me in advance of the potential side effects that i had while taking the meds and also about the very serious problems that i had after stopping the meds.ssri discontinuation syndrome is well documented and i should have been warned. if i had been told of the risks of meds i would have chosen not to take them, because the benefits i saw from them were minimal.

Feels like I am debataing my condition with him versus just telling him my symptoms. Doesn't like being questioned. Very patronizing. Unsympathetic to requests about treatment. Looks at computer most of visit rather than dialogue with patient. I have anxiety issues and this doctor who is supposed to help with that actually triggers them in me. Zero bedside manner.

Wonderful Physician!!! Accurate and tells it like it is which I am sure some people don't like, but when it comes to getting better, he can help!! Would recommend to any family member or friend!!!

Dr. Logan is rude and abrupt. Has an overly inflated sense of self(his).He seemed to get easily agitated. When anything he said was questioned, he became surly and offensive. Not good qualities for a doctor.
