Dr Keith D Newman, MD

I was seen by Dr. Newman at my regional medical facility to address urinary tract outflow obstruction and grossly bloody urine. I found Dr. Newman to be "right on top of things". He was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, conversant, attentive, communicative.....all the things you want of a physician especially when you are in discomfort. I will spare you the actual procedures I endured.....but if I had to go through them again, my first call would be to Dr. Newman

Dr. Newman is a great Dr. Been going to him for years and from day one explained everything concerning my case of bladder cancer. His attention to all my needs are excellent as well as the entire staff. Wouldn't think of visiting a different Dr.

I am not sure why there are negative comments. He has exceeded all my expectations and since I am a healthcare professional that is hard to do! Wait times (& I’ve been at both offices) is minimal, he has great bedside manners, and takes time to answer (and fully explain) all our questions.....even the “dumb” ones. His office staff is great. When I had to get hold of the doctor on a weekend, the on call physician returned my call within minutes and was extremely nice and patient with me. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Newman and his practice.....highly recommend!

I took my family member to see Dr. Newman. The patient is hard of hearing and Dr. Newman seemed to get very irritated that the patient couldn’t hear him. A follow-up appointment usually includes a 30-45 minute wait before going to the exam room and waiting another 30 minutes at least. Call backs are not very prompt, with no accountability that the patient actually received the call. The office staff mixed up our family member with another patient on one visit. The level of kind, compassionate and prompt care needed for older patients is in need of improvement.

Great Dr. with a good supporting staff. Not one complaint about Dr Newman from the past 10 years while under his care. Excellent!!

Be prepared to wait after your scheduled time 90 minutes or more just to see the doctor. This is not a prompt or efficiently run office. Give yourself 3 hours for a normal visit.

Horrible experience. Terrible bedside manner, lack of follow up, lies to patient.

The girls in front office said I did not have an appointment,They said I must have dialed the wrong number,yet in same breath said I hung up on them. I did raise my voice some, as they were accusing me of lying. When I got to see the doctor, he accused me of taking God's name in vain. He would not listen to my side of the story. He left the examining room, with no explanation, and was gone for more than 15 minutes, so I got up and left. I then got a registered letter saying that he would no longer treat me, nor would anyone in his practice and I must find another urologist by Jan. 1. This is the rudest most obnoxious M.D. I have ever met.

Dr. Newman performed a TURP on me 7 years ago and I am having green light PVP next week. He was very thorough in his diagnosis and answered all of my questions. He makes his recommendation and listens to your opinions. After over 30 years of recurring UTI infections, he is the only one who has correctly diagnosed and treated the issue correctly. He doesn't treat symptoms, he finds the root cause of the problem.
