Dr. Kelley William London, MD

If you have ever faced any form of a trauma, or even general nervousness, around a GYN visit, this is not the doctor for you. I attempted to schedule a consult for birth control options with this doctor and to discuss some concerns I have with GYN exams from previously traumatic experiences to ensure certain actions were not repeated. Instead of being met with understanding, compassion, or a willingness to listen, I was told that if I came in to the appointment, I would have no choice but to submit to a full exam and pap in order to be even have a general discussion with the doctor. Considering doctors in the past have been happy to speak with me about my fears prior to exams, I found this submit-or-you-won't-be-seen attitude to be shocking. I would advise anyone who might have faced trauma, have concerns, or experienced negative exams in the past to avoid this doctor.

Don’t expect Dr. London to listen to anything you have to say. She scared me with a bunch of bad things that could happen if I didn’t take birth control, IN A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL manner, and said every other medical doctor was wrong with what they said about this issue... including other gynos. She made assumptions and POSSIBLE diagnosis (including mentioning that I could possibly have a TUMOR in my head), without even checking my heart rate, she performed NO DIAGNOSTIC TEST and she was telling me (a person with severe anxiety) I may have all these possible diagnoses...while I sat there crying. I walked out in the middle of our very traumatic appointment and left full of anxiety about all these diseases and diagnoses I could POSSIBLY have. That SHE TOLD ME. I am contacting the state medical board about her unethical manipulation to get me on birth control and hope someone actually sees this review before making that appointment, I wish I did. I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS DOCTOR TO… ANYONE!

The lack of compassion and empathy is truly disturbing here. This is a very sensitive matter for me and many women. As a survivor, I expected more from a gyno. She gave up because I wanted other options than a pill. She used the scare tactic on me to get me on birth control. Not to mention, she is misleading the public by handpicking her google reviews. I have tried numerous times to leave a review on the google page and they keep deleting it, showing a 4.9 star when this is false. I made my appointment based on those google reviews, I feel like my decision would've been different if I saw other reviews like mine that she may have gotten rid of as well. I had to make a yelp to be able to post my review of this doctor. Don’t expect Dr. London to listen to anything you have to say. It’s her way or the highway and for people like me who need accommodations, it’s very traumatic. When doctors like this aren’t compassionate or caring it is hard to feel comfortable and respected. She claimed one of my doctors wasn't a real doctor/MD because Dr. London didn't know what a functional MEDICINE DOCTOR was... It really was HER way or the highway, I chose the highway because it is MY BODY. I was cut off mid-sentence to be shot down and judged, I felt like I was almost being attacked for not knowing things DOCTORS know. She made assumptions and POSSIBLE diagnosis (including mentioning that I could possibly have a tumor in my head), without even checking my heart rate, she performed NO DIAGNOSTIC TEST and she was telling me (a person with severe anxiety) I may have all these possible diagnoses... I am very disappointed with the unprofessional people in this office. Never have I experienced something like this with a doctor or team. I walked out in the middle of our very rude conversation and appointment and left full of anxiety about all these diseases and diagnoses I could possibly have. She pushed pills on me after I refused to be on them while continuing to tell me that the NATURAL supplements I am on can cause infertility issues. When I asked which of the ones I AM ON might cause that, she said, "I don't recognize any but 2 supplements". SHE used the scare tactic on a young mentally ill person and I am disgusted by how my appointment/conversation went. I am contacting the state medical board about her unethical manipulation to get me on birth control and hope someone actually sees this review before making that appointment, I wish I did. I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS DOCTOR TO ANYONE!

She is the best!

I am a fairly new patient and she was very thorough and answered all my questions and was very kind. I will continue coming here.

I saw Dr. London for a few years - routinely for yearly gynecology exams. After seeing her to discuss a couple of concerns after stopping birth control pills, she brushed it off stating that I "probably" have PCOS. She handed me a pamphlet and said to call with any questions. I left the office not knowing whether or not I had PCOS, scared of a diagnosis that she barely reviewed with me. I immediately sought another OBGYN group (NorthShore) where they confirmed I in fact do NOT have PCOS. I hope no other woman has to experience this kind of worry with Dr. London.

Dr. London and her staff are the best. I have been having medical issues off and on for several months and she has been there every step of the way with me, taking it step by step and ruling out everything that could be wrong. Dr. London is kind, compassionate and very nice. She listens to me and then we discuss the next steps. She puts my mind at ease and always tells me to give her a call if I have any questions or concerns. I give her a 5 Start Plus rating and refer her to all my friends.

So unprofessional , visited there she used unsterile gloves to perform vaginal examination , used unsterile speculum on me an damped it in the sink after using it. she never even swabbed my vagina before inserting the speculum .. She is so unprofessional .. can’t recommend her to anybody

I've been Dr. London's patient now for close to 17 years. She possesses distinct qualities that set her apart from all other doctors. I can't tell you how much I appreciate her outstanding bedside manner, compassion, attention to detail, medical knowledge, experience, critical thinking - in short, all genuine qualities that allow you to feel comfortable and confident that your health is in the best of care. Through the most precious moments (i.e. birth of a baby) to very sad personal unfortunate events, she has maintained her excellence in care always! Without a doubt, I am truly grateful for having found Dr. London! (Dr. London took time out of her day, on her own, to call me in order to talk through a very difficult situation - my heart and mind were put so much at ease after our conversation. I thought about how truly remarkable she is as a human being - above and beyond her dr's duties. Thank you, Dr. London, for everything!)
