Dr. Kelly Blevins

It was absolutely horrible. After seen him 3 times before, gone through PT for months and no resolution , he told me that there was nothing wrong with me physically. In other words, I was making it up, so he told me to learn to live with the pain even though I told him the pain was so bad it made me cry. It turns out I had a torn labrum in my hip. I saw Dr Paul Chin, which I reAlly recommend. He did arthroscopic surgery and replace some of the labrum. Right after surgery my pain was gone. It is a long recovery, but well worth it. Dr Blevins might be the worst doctor i have ever had. ??

I thought Blevins was the worst physician I have ever had the misfortune of seeing. I had a painful foot and x-rays were ordered. He didn't examine my foot and he suggested I wear different shoes...with a metatarsal pad. I tried that for six weeks and when I contacted the office because of continued pain, I was told he did all he could do. Exactly what that was in his mind, who knows? Well Blevins, I went to another physician and after surgery I am good as new. Pathetic method of care. Just pathetic.

from the assistant that first came in to get my info to the doctor himself, no one seems to care about the patient as a person. the nurse wrote down INCORRECT medical information and date of my previous surgery. I had brought my two MRI reports along with my surgical notes as I was to discuss revision surgery with Dr. Blevins. Dr. Blevins did not ask me ANY questions. they took x-rays but he did not mention what, if anything, they showed. He then tells me he needs an MRI. when I tell him he has the reports in his hands, he says "oh I thought it was just your surgical notes". he spent five seconds skimming the MRI reports. focuses on the word tendonitis and tells me he has to redo the entire surgical procedure. this man was highly recommended by my orthopedic surgeon to help me with my Achilles Tendon problem. I will never again waste my time with him or his staff. His care manager called me after I left a bad review and called me MRS. twice and I had to correct her twice. so… apparently everyone in that office has a problem with listening to the patient. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!

I had to see Dr because of foot and hip pain. I had X-rays before my visit of foot, ankles and lower back. Dr came in the room, asked how long I had the pain. He never looked at X-ray reports that brought to him. He never examined my foot, ankle or hip. He instructed me to go to a particular shoe store and buy a pair of orthodotics shoes with which cost $200 and a shoe insert for $55. He said he watched me walk before he came in the examining room when I went the restroom. From that walk he stated I have loose ligaments. He said I should try 2 Aleve a day got pain and could come back if I needed to. I have never been so disappointed in any physician as I was in this doctor. If I could give a lower rating I would.

Dr. Blevins is great. Thorough, excellent communicator and offers options (for my situation.). I totally trust him as an excellent orthopedic surgeon. His care and concern for his patients is very obvious.

This doctor never even touched my foot which is why I was there in the first place. Absolutely no compassion for my pain. Thankfully, another reputable orthopedic surgeon took up the slack and gave me the relief I needed. Stay clear of Dr. Blevins.

Dr. Kelly Blevins is a hero to my entire family. We would entrust our lives to him. I can't say enough good things about his open and friendly personality, he goes above and beyond to explain in detail what he sees as your medical issues. He is very conservative in his approach to treatment. He is not one to immediately schedule surgery, if there are treatment alternatives. I would recommend him, and have done so on numerous occasions to anyone I know. Dr. Blevins is a truly gifted Orthopaedic Surgeon with a warm smile and skilled hands. Jamie Wiggins

I wish I would have walked out. He is arrogant and did nothing to help my daughter. The surgery was a disaster and we've had two to correct the mess he made.

Absolutely waste of time and money. Dr. Blevins misdiagnosed and did not bother to examine my foot/ankle. I chose another orthopedic surgeon afterwards and the results were different as night and day. Thank goodness. Horrible experience.

Worst doctor ever! Wouldn’t even touch me to find out my problems. Condacsending and pompous. He made it clear to me where the exit was, that’s the only thing I remember him telling me. He couldn’t wait to get rid of me.
