I was introduced to her after a botched procedure performed by another doctor. Dr.Shaffer saved my life literally. She takes the time to listen to her patients needs and plans out the best course of action. Her attention to detail is one of the many things that kept me around as a patient for over 15 years. Her and the staff at Lowcountry are as professional as they come.

Professional, yet down to earth. Good listener who provides sound medical advice. Always asks for the client's feedback. Willing to go that extra mile. I've been with the doc for seven years, so I must be a happy camper.

Dr Shaffer is always very understanding and efficient. She answers your question with common sense that non medical people can understand. And she wants to genuinely help the patient.

I don’t care for her personality she doesn’t listen to me & I feel she was quite rude with the comment she made regarding my X-ray . My insurance is no longer covering my bladder spams medication she didn’t offer to write a letter she subscribed me a different medication that does nothing for my bladder spams.

I saw Dr. Shaffer, my wife’s Urologist, after a questionable urinalysis, and she found and removed a cancerous bladder nodule. Dr. Shaffer answered my questions and, most importantly, listened to what my concerns were and future treatments would be.

She chews and pops bubble gum like a teenager and walks with her feet pointed 2 and a slapping outword with slapping gait and it seems to be an indication of her attitude. I'm an older person and when I said something she rolled her eyes as if What I said boring and pathetic. I wouldn't send a dog to her for urilogical problems I wouldn't send a dog

Great urologist. Great listener, and projects active role in developing your care plan with ample patient education. A plus is she does not come across aloof and limited on time as specialist can be known for doing.
