I have lived in NC, NY and Canada and have had doctors in all 3 areas, Dr, Hamner is by far the best, compassionate, very good at what he does, answers my questions and follows up with me. I have reccomended him to family and friends. He squeezes you into his schedule when you have an urgent issue and make you feel like you are his priority. He is a doctor you can trust.

DR HAMNER DIAGNOSED A FORM OF MIGRAINES THAT WAS MISSSED BY SPECIALISTS. I AM A FEMALE AND SUFFER FROM "CLUSTER" MIGRAINES, THIS IS A FORM OF MIGRAINES THAT IS HIGHLY PREVELANT IN MEN. IT IS VERY RARE FOR WOMEN TO SUFFER FROM THIS FORM OF HEADACHE. I HAVE BEEN MIS-DIAGNOSED SINCE I WAS A TEEN. DR HAMNER BECAME MY DOCTOE 15 YEARS AG BY MANY DOCTORS. DR HAMNER DETERMINDED THE ROOT CAUSE, AND HAS TREATED MY ILLNESS WHERE I AM NOW ABLE TO FUNCTION IN SOCIETY. I HAD BEEN ADMITTED TO HOSPITALS MANY TIMES IN THE PAST PRIOR TO MY FINDING DR HAMNER. Dr. Hamner is charasmatic and professional and is a joy in which to work and trust. I feel comfortable with him and he knows how to take his time and go about a checklist to ensure that EVERYTHING the patient wishes to discuss and/or needs to be checked out is on the TO DO LIST! Dr. Hamner is an excellent doctor. The only problem I have with his old and new offices is the person that handles the doctor's referrals. It takes too long to receive a doctor's referral form. My last visit it took over 30 days to receive this form. I called twice to find out what the delay was and no one returned my call to say what the status of me receiving the forms. If he can get this straighten out then his office would be top notch.

I am suffering with chronic neck and back spasm. Twice your office or you fail to follow up with me. During my examination Dr Hamner only asks questions and never really examines me. He prescribes medication that he could have prescribed over the phone when I call in 4 days with the neck and back spasm.I feel like a number of Dr Hamner not a patient.
