I came to see Dr. Miyasaka after a visit to the emergency room the prior week. I was told I fractured my wrist and told to see him the following week. He reviewed the x-ray from the ER and didn't schedule anything new. He said that I didn't fracture my hand but it was in fact only sprained.. REALLY??!! I told him I was in pain and was crying, he didn't care. He even suggested physical therapy right away. I begged and pleaded with him to do something he did nothing.. I went and saw another doctor got an MRI.. the results I fractured my wrist in four places tore a ligament and a screw is being put in. Please listen to your patients and don't treat them like garbage.

The customer service called me and asked what my insurance. And I said United Healthcare Oxford. And when she saw in her system that I don't have an insurance. She told that she will cancel my appointment?? Because she saw in her system 13 years ago! that my insurance are cancelled. Of course that is cancelled - you were looking a 13 years ago?!. And I was explaining - she keeps on yapping and yapping and talking and not even hearing my side. Just the worst treatment as her FIRST TIME CUSTOMER! She didn't even asked my Group ID number? I was trying to get in contact with Dr. Ken Miyasaka and could not even be reached. And bring up the attitude of the receptionist. Unfortunately - he could not be reached. Just the worst receptionist I ever encountered. There's no way to make an appointment with this office.

Was not impressed with his care

I have a broken ankle.I went to a first consultation and I had to wait more than an hour to know that the doctor couldn't help me because I needed an IRM. I did it and impossible to get an appointment again. The doctor was off for two weeks and I didn't say anything.No back up and only lies from his staff. At the end, I took my medical records and went to an another doctor. Getting them to release my files was a nightmare.I DONT recommend this doctor.
